Luis Díaz, the Colombian star from Liverpool, acknowledged the difficulty of winning the Premier League title due to the fierce competition from various teams.
Currently, Liverpool leads the Premier League with 67 points, 13 points ahead of second-place Arsenal, who have played one less game.
Díaz shared in an interview with Liverpool’s official website: "Our coach, Arne Slot, adapted very quickly and effectively. He knows exactly how to manage the group and each player individually."
He continued: "It’s not an easy task, but he has taken on the responsibility well and instilled confidence in every player."
Díaz added: "We all understand how challenging it is to win the Premier League title. It seems to get more difficult each year. Even though Manchester City has won the title multiple times, it’s still incredibly tough to claim it."
He went on to say: "We work hard and train well, and we have a fantastic team of players who are focused on the future, eager to continue pushing forward, achieving good results, and working match by match with the goal of accomplishing great things for the club."
He concluded: "It’s all about maintaining our effort and staying focused because there’s a long way to go. We also need to rest between matches, as that will be crucial for us."
