 Bournemouth secured their place in the FA Cup quarterfinals after a thrilling encounter against Wolverhampton, which ended in a 1-1 draw following both regular and extra time on Saturday.





Ivanilson put Bournemouth ahead in the 30th minute, but a potential second goal was ruled out for a handball during injury time at the end of the first half.


Wolverhampton equalized in the second half through Matheus Cunha, sending the match into extra time after a 1-1 draw.


During extra time, Cunha was shown a red card in the 120th minute, leaving Wolverhampton a man down.


The match was then decided by penalties, where Bournemouth triumphed 5-4, securing victory in front of their home crowd at Vitality Stadium.


Earlier in the day, Preston North End advanced with a 3-0 win over Burnley, while Crystal Palace defeated Millwall 3-1.
