American tennis star Jessica Pegula has secured her place in the fourth round of the prestigious Indian Wells tournament, a WTA 1000 event, after delivering a commanding performance against China’s Wang Xinyu on Sunday evening. The fourth-seeded Pegula dominated the match, sealing victory in straight sets with scores of 6-2 and 6-1, showcasing her strong form and determination as she advances deeper into the competition.






In the upcoming fourth round, Pegula is set to face a challenging opponent in Ukraine’s Elina Svitolina, the tournament’s 23rd seed. Svitolina earned her spot in this stage after overcoming American Danielle Collins, the 14th seed, in a competitive match that ended with scores of 6-2 and 6-4.
